同一星球上 – On The Same Planet

Bhutan, which adjoins Tibet in the north while borders India in the south, is a landlocked country nestled in the Eastern Himalayas.

If you want to travel to Bhutan, there are only two ways: taking bus from Phuentsholing, Southern India or taking flights. There are only two airline companies, including Drukair – Royal Bhutan Airlines and Bhutan Airlines, provide air routes to Bhutan.

As there are only direct flights from nearby countries, such as Nepal, India, Singapore, Thailand… (except Hong Kong, obviously T_T)to Bhutan, our travel agency assigned us to take the flight from Bangkok to Paro (where Bhutan’s one and the only one international airport located).

It seems that this country is isolated from the world. However, after glancing the stunning environment of Bhutan from the tiny window on the plane before landing, I believe such kind of isolation nurtures her unique culture.

不丹位於喜馬拉雅山脈東邊，北邊是西藏，南邊鄰接印度，因山多平地少，對外交通不太發達。

從陸路的話，就只有從印度南部的Phuentsholing 入境，若從空路入境，有乘搭不丹皇家航空和不丹航空。

以不丹皇家航空的航線為例，最多航班的是泰國曼谷(一天有兩班)，其他國家如印度(每天一班* 部分地區有所不同)、新加坡(一星期兩班)、孟加拉(季節性)、尼泊爾(一天一班)亦有航班，但班次明顯較少，再考慮到我們由香港出發，曼谷亦是比較方便我們的出發地點(所以我提早到曼谷一日遊)。

由曼谷飛往不丹帕羅機場的航班於凌晨五時起飛，凌晨二時許，我們一行八人終於到齊曼谷，到航空公司櫃位辦理手續。機場負責幫我們 Check-In的職員叔叔看到我身高腳長，還特地安排了經濟倉的最前排給我，還真是體貼的服務呢。

我們將行李寄倉、離境、登機，我坐到機倉上馬上呼呼入睡(星期五下班後坐凌晨機從香港到曼谷，一日遊後，又坐凌晨機去不丹，差不多連續四十小時都沒有好好睡過···) 飛機由曼谷飛往帕羅(大約四個小時) 中途會在印度作短暫的小停留(我睡到半昏迷狀態，已沒心情考究是印度那個城市了)

一陣氣壓的變異，令我從夢中醒來，飛機準備要降落，我半睡半醒的，雙眼朦朧的望向窗外，是田野農家，遠處連綿不絕的山脈埋首在薄霧之中若隱若現，我不禁一陣驚嘆，就是這與世隔絕的環境，方能孕育如此獨特的文化。

* 不丹雖是喜瑪拉雅山腳下的國家，但城市的海拔一般只有大約2千多米，所以不必擔心有高原反應，唯在北部比較接近喜瑪拉雅山的地域才有更高海拔。

* 之前得到消息：香港的康X旅行社和不丹皇家航空合作搞了香港不丹直航的不丹團，但我們看過價錢後，還是不了。
