不丹的國旗十分獨特而精緻。

大部份國家的國旗都是簡單的線條和圖案，但不丹國旗卻是一條白龍，背後是一條斜線將旗幟分成兩份，上半部分是黃色，下半部分是橙色，白龍在黃橙的背景中張牙舞爪，好不生動。

黃色部分代表傳統和國王的統治，象徵國王是國家的精神和傳統的重要支柱; 而橙色的部分延續了上半部的傳統精神，也象徵佛教的蓬勃發展。中間的白龍毫無疑問是代表不丹- 雷龍之國的稱號，而白龍象徵著不丹的團結和愛國，代表人民即使是不同的種族，說不同的語言，也對國家忠誠、熱愛和充滿歸屬感。

Bhutan’s national flag is specific and unique.

The upper yellow half of the backdrop of the flag represents the secular tradition. It symbolizes the King’s ruling has enhanced the country’s spiritual and traditional development. The lower orange half has extended the traditional spirit of the upper half. it also symbolizes the flourishing development of Buddhism. The white dragon in the middle is undoubtedly represents the title of the Kingdom – the Kingdom of Thunder Dragon. It also represents Bhutanese’s loyalty and patriotism.
